Spice City sizzles in home opener; Turlock splits, Muskegon, Chihuahua get wins

TAMPA, Fla. -- When all was said and done -- and the cheers from some 2,000 new indoor soccer fans in Danbury,, Connecticut, had finally subsided -- Spice City FC did not disappoint in their Major Arena Soccer League 2 home opener Sunday afternoon.

Spice City, in its first season of MASL 2 action, opened with three straight on the road before this weekend. Turlock got a split with Empire out west, while Chihuahua had little trouble with New Mexico and Muskegon rolled past Wisconsin.
