Week 11: DiGrado sets scoring record in sweep, Chihuahua takes two as well

TAMPA, Florida -- Week 11 was one for the record books in Major Arena Soccer League 2 action.

Minnesota Blizzard forward Devan DiGrado set a league record over the weekend for most points in a single game with his 13-point game for the homestanding Bliz, scoring eight goals and adding five assists in a 22-3 win over the Wisconsin Conquerors. His eight goals was second most in league history in one game, behind only Rene Loya who accomplished that feat on January 25, 2020 when Chihuahua Savage 2 defeated the Colorado Rumble, 14-5.

While Minnesota go the weekend sweep, so too did the Chihuahua Savage 2 to keep pace with the Midwest-West Division leading Wichita Wings, who were idle.
