Week 17: Wichita, Chihuahua, Utica, Spice City, Iowa jockey for playoff spots

TAMPA, Florida -- Both playoff spots and seeds for the April 11 and 12 Major Arena Soccer League 2 playoff are very much front of mind for a number of teams as the regular season winds down for most clubs this weekend.

Among the key games: Utica's United Elite Krajisnik at Spice City, OKC at Wichita, Iowa at Wisconsin and Chihuahua hosting the Empire Jets.

Also at home this weekend: the New Mexico Runners and the San Diego Sockers 2, including a MASL / MASL 2 doubleheader Saturday at Frontwave Arena. The MASL Sockers will host their SoCal rivals the Empire Jets at 10 p.m. PDT. The Sockers 2 will host Turlock earlier in the day.
