Wings win a thriller, Spice rolls, Empire gains split in OT to highlight Week 10

TAMPA, Florida -- Thrillers abounded in MASL 2 this past weekend, with none bigger than the Wichita Wings comeback win over the Chihuahua Savage 2 at Park City Arena.

It was a back and forth affair until one of the game's great veterans, Kevin Ten Eyck, scored both the equalizer and game winner less than four minutes apart early in the final quarter for the Wings, who were rocking their 45th anniversary throw-back uniforms.

Elsewhere, Turlock and Empire hooked up in an OT doozy, with the Jets rallying and surviving an incredible finish to gain a split of two games with the tough Express. Iowa stayed undefeated with a doubleheader sweep in Minnesota, Spice City continued its roll at home and Chihuahua salvaged their midwestern swing with a hard-fought 9-8 win over the OKC Certified Lions, who announced Friday they will be moving to the brand new 4,500 seat OG&E Arena in downtown Oklahoma City for the 2025-25 season.
